REA.fund runs this site and decides what is kept and why.

Wallets and the launchpad

You don’t sign in to launch or trade, and we don’t store the wallets you connect. Your wallet connects through Reown (WalletConnect), which sees the connection, and the pages read your balances and launches from the blockchain. Our index copies public blockchain activity for launches made here, including the wallet addresses in each trade. Trades and launches are public on the blockchain for good, and a launch’s name, picture, description and links are shown here to everyone. A picture you upload for a launch is stored under its own fingerprint, pinned to IPFS and served publicly. We never hold keys or move funds.

Signing in with X

Signing in exists for the site’s administrators, who moderate launches. If you sign in, we keep your X id, display name, handle and avatar, and a session. We never post, follow or message on your behalf.

Signing in with GitHub, for repository owners

A repository’s owner signs in with GitHub to claim the share held for their project, to name its official launch or to opt it out. GitHub asks you to allow reading your account and whether you own the organisation; we use that once, to check you own the repository, and don’t keep the access GitHub grants. We keep a public record of each verification: your GitHub id and login, the repository, your role (owner of the account or of the organisation), the payout address you named and when. The project’s page shows it, so anyone can check a claim. We never post, follow or change anything on GitHub.

Creators’ edits

When a launch’s creator edits its page or posts an update, the text, the wallet that signed it and its signature are kept and shown, every version.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps a signed-in administrator signed in, and a repository owner’s GitHub verification lasts half an hour in another. Another remembers the light or dark theme you chose (a year). The browser also keeps a few preferences and unsaved drafts on your own device. There are no advertising cookies.

Who else sees it

Our hosting, database and storage providers process data on our behalf (Pinata and Cloudflare R2 store uploaded pictures), Reown handles wallet connections, and GitHub handles repository owners’ sign-in and answers our questions about public repositories. Server logs, including your network address and security reports your browser sends, are kept briefly by the host. We don’t sell data. Public content, once shared, may be copied by anyone who saw it.
